The Truth About Light Rums

by Ordinaire 24. March 2009 02:01

Light Rum has a very subtle body, and is aged in plain oak, as opposed to charred oak, or stainless steel - for up to a year. The most common flavors are orange, lemon, or other tropical fruits making it most popular rum used in cocktails, and favored by drinkers everywhere.

Light Rum Producers include Bacardi who makes Superio. Razz, Limon, and Coco; Malibu who makes Coconut, Pineapple, and Passion Fruit; and Cruzan who makes a lot of flavors such as Pineapple, Orange, Mango, etc.
